LOVE; A word used by many, Understood by few by Mustapha Obafemi, Abdul

by cephas

Love is a short word, easy to spell, difficult to define, and impossible to live without ______Sayshainer.

Love is a complex set of emotions, behaviours, and beliefs associated with strong feelings of affection, protectiveness, warmth and respect for another.
Love; we think about it, sing about it, dream about it, lose sleep worrying about it. When we discover it, we don’t know what to do with it; and when we have it, we fear losing it.

Love can encourage you to feel jealous or sad or hungry for someone else’s affection.
It can fuel unhappiness when you miss or lose someone, it can distract you from other things that might need your attention. It can inspire you to spend and even waste resources. It overuses logic and common sense. All of the senses have a greater intensity. Colour seems brighter, sounds more resonant and smells more powerful when you are in love.

We use the word to describe a whole lot of things. We love food, and we do love music.
Using love to describe such simple things makes the word seem a little safer. It is safer because we are not exposed. A song or food can never reject us. But when we choose to share our life with another person, we inevitably make a choice to become vulnerable. Unfortunately, vulnerability leaves our defense down and often we get hurt in the process.

We all know the feelings that surround being hurt in love – rejection, humiliation, desperation – all in the name of love. Opening one’s heart to another person, only to be rejected is one of the most painful experiences in life. It hurts more than physical pain because it shakes us at the core of our identity, our hopes and our dreams.

Love rushes us to the mountain top, and when lost, sends us careening back to valley below. We cannot help but feel empty. We cannot help but feel worthless. We cannot help but feel hopeless.
The Yoruba adage says
Oro ife bi adanwo ni
*Abdul says;
Ife adanwo ni.

What do you know about love?
That magical four lettered word.
It lures your heart.
You begin to lose interest in sleep.
It deafens you even though you hear.
It offers you unconscious smiles.
It replaces your appetite for food
and nothing soothes your oesophagus,
nothing fills your stomach
than a single cup of affection.

*What do you know about love?
That magical four lettered word.
It blinds your eyes so much that you don’t want
to see the other side of a coin.
It gives you more reason to want to live just as
the way it shows you the exit door.
It paints your face the smile of the morning sun.
It turns your eyes to a raining sky.

Do you know anything about love
or you only read the four lettered word?
If you meet love in person what would you ask him?

Don’t love too much, don’t care too much, because that too much will hurt you – Abdul 2020″

You can never control yourself when you fall in love, you don’t fall in love with people because they are scums, they might play with your emotions.
To avoid this statement, I will never love in my life again.
Abdul 2020 says ; Don’t love too much, don’t care too much, because that too much will hurt you so much.
